Duties include but are not limited to



  • Collecting trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces

  • Sweeping and mopping floors and vacuuming carpets

  • Washing and sanitize commodes, sinks and restrooms and restocking disposables

  • Wiping mirrors and windows

  • Maintaining outer premises and cleaning entrances

  • Utilizing insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests

  • Performing maintenance and minor repairs as needed

  • Reporting major damages and overseeing repairs

  • Securing facilities after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows and setting up the alarms where required

  • Disposing of hazardous cleaning chemicals and materials properly

  • Operating floor maintenance equipment

  • Maintaining floors to include cleaning, stripping, waxing, etc.

  • Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.

  • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.).

  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.

  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

  • Stock and maintain supply rooms.

  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned
